The objectives of the Life Education Group are as follows:

  1. Provide moral and civic education to help students develop good character as an integral part of holistic Christian education.
  2. Help students understand God's intention in creating humanity and their own nature, enabling them to discover their potential, assist others, and enjoy a fulfilling life.
  3. Focus on the developmental and service-oriented aspects of students' work, promoting appreciation, acceptance, gratitude, and healthy growth.
  4. Assist students in resolving challenges they face in their growth journey from a biblical perspective.

Activities:

  1. Volunteer Service:

    • In-school: "Caring Program" within the school, mentoring junior students.
    • Off-campus: Flag-selling, booth games at the Housing Department's community events, winter visits to elderly living alone, service for preschool children, activities with Islamic schools.
  2. Junior Youth Brigade:

    • In-school service: Orientation day for new Form 1 students, student council voting day, exhibition of Tuen Mun secondary schools, school information day, Healthy Campus Week.
    • Off-campus service: Visits to nursing homes, Po Leung Kuk Elderly Day, visits to elderly living alone, Peace Bell Ambassadors program, service for visually impaired individuals, visits to preschool children, flag-selling.
    • Training and participation programs: Top 10 High School News Election, Community Education Program for the Hearing Impaired, "Dialogue in the Dark" experience, training for visually impaired volunteers, Peace Bell Ambassadors training, Friendly Integration Ambassadors program, "Success Pact" program, "I Can Fly" program.
  3. National, Moral, and Civic Education:

    • Activities: Good deeds appreciation, Appreciation Week, Blood Donation Day, Care for AIDS Day, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, various exhibitions.
    • Global Concern: Fundraising for earthquakes, casual attire day, letter-writing to individuals in Sichuan, solidarity for the Philippines hostage incident.
  4. Environmental Education:

    • Activities: No Air-conditioning Day, plastic bottle recycling campaign.
  5. Student Recommendations:

    • Good manners and behavior recognition: Polite and respectful youth, Outstanding Student Award by the Tuen Mun District School Heads Association, Outstanding Youth Association's "Future Leaders Award," Tuen Mun District Volunteer Commendation Scheme for Outstanding Volunteers and Outstanding Newbie Volunteers.
