NLSI PESS Alumni Association 2023-2025

Hello everyone! I am Wilson Leung, the chairman of the 8th Alumni Association.

First of all, I would like to thank all the alumni, Principal Lau and teachers for their support and trust in me, and for giving me the opportunity to serve you. I hereby promise to work hard to promote the alumni association, with the goal of reuniting previous alumni, assisting the development of the school, and strengthening the relationship between alumni and the school.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of NLSIPESS’s Silver Jubilee. The theme is “Study, Temper the Chain, Spread Wings and Soar” to witness that God has led PESS to cultivate talents in the past 25 years. It is hoped that the Alumni Association can become a bridge between alumni and the school, and through various activities, it can bring together previous alumni to participate in this event.

Finally, I would like to encourage everyone to pay attention to the school website, Facebook and IG of the alumni association. We will release the latest news from time to time. The most important thing is that we hope that all alumni can actively participate in our activities and look forward to seeing you at the next event.

"Pess People, Pess Spirit." I graduated from Pess in 2014, and the spirit of Pess has been ingrained in my heart for almost 8 years. I am fortunate to be part of carrying on this legacy, working for the alumni, the juniors, and supporting the teachers and principals of the school.

As we approach the end of 2022 and step into 2023, both current students and alumni who have graduated surely have high hopes for the new year. We long for the pandemic to recede, to finally remove the masks we've been wearing for nearly three years, and to face the upcoming challenges as our true selves.

Over the years, the Alumni Association has faced various new challenges. For example, our highly anticipated Alumni Day, held once a year, had to be canceled due to the pandemic. However, the committee members and advisory teachers of the Alumni Association have remained dedicated and committed, striving to fulfill the responsibilities of the association and becoming a bridge between students, alumni, and teachers. Within the school, we provide information on further studies and share relevant industry insights to nurture the future pillars of Pess. We do our best to provide our juniors with different channels of information, which of course relies on the valuable time our alumni take to return to the school and share their experiences. Alumni, please eagerly await the next Alumni Day, where we can gather with classmates and teachers, reminiscing about our youth in Pess. And, of course, we can "raise our glasses, eat and drink, and enjoy each other's company."

I am incredibly fortunate to be involved in the work of this Alumni Association. I hope to make the utmost effort, together with other committee members, not only to continue the hard-earned achievements of past committees but also to explore new possibilities for the Alumni Association.

Finally, on behalf of the Alumni Association, I invite everyone to continue to strongly support our work. You can:

1. Actively participate: Not only participate in alumni activities but also actively invite other alumni to join. Your participation is crucial in driving the work of the committee.

2. Stay connected and respond: I hope all alumni will actively stay in touch with us, such as liking the "Pess Alumni Association" Facebook and Instagram pages and updating us with your information. This way, we can keep everyone informed of the latest updates and respond appropriately.

3. Provide feedback: Although the committee members of the Alumni Association strive to serve everyone with the spirit of "giving our all and doing our best," we still greatly value your valuable opinions. If you have any feedback, please do not hesitate to let us know!
