 1. Purpose:

Through the learning of biology, encourage students to appreciate and cherish nature. By exploring issues in nature, enable students to understand the wonders of God's creatures. Cultivate students' curiosity and interest in biological knowledge. Enable students to acquire basic biological knowledge and concepts in order to live in this world greatly influenced by science and technology; and to prepare for public examinations, further studies and careers in the future. Cultivate students' ability to analyze problems, think critically and solve problems.

 2. Objectives and Focus in the Current Year:

Organize outdoor field trips and special topic research for students to cultivate their communication and analytical abilities. In line with the annual theme of "Self-learning to strive for advancement and cultivate integrity to achieve success", promote drug prevention education and environmental protection education through teaching healthy lifestyles to cultivate students' integrity and care for God's beautiful environment. In line with the annual theme of "Self-learning to strive for advancement and cultivate integrity to achieve success", foster students' self-learning attitude and active learning attitude, cultivate students' initiative to learn from reading, and encourage students to care about matters related to biology in daily life. Use information technology to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness. Use information technology as a platform to provide students with diversified learning resources. Implement continuous learning assessment to meet the needs of the New Senior Secondary curriculum. Practice collective lesson preparation, collectively systematically prepare teaching materials, continue to implement peer lesson observation and discussion to enhance teaching methods. Cater to students of different learning abilities, utilize achievement statistics data to help formulate more effective teaching strategies to address students' learning differences, help Secondary 6 students prepare for public examinations, while adopting an approach of nurturing the elite and helping the weak to strengthen support for Secondary 5 students. Maintain the current English extension teaching to increase students' opportunities to be exposed to English.
