I. Objectives

  • To cultivate students' interest in learning geography.
  • To help students acquire basic geographic knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes and values.
  • To help students recognize and understand the "spatial relationships" and landscape patterns formed through the interaction processes between "humans", "land" and "environment".
  • To train students to apply geographic concepts and knowledge to analyze controversial issues in daily life, and to make appropriate choices by weighing various factors, which can not only meet academic needs but also cultivate concern and commitment to society.
  • Through learning various natural and human geographical phenomena, students can appreciate God's creation and recognize God's grandeur and wisdom in His plan.
  • To examine through analyzing the various spatial distribution patterns formed by human behaviors whether the "human-land spatial relationship" disrupts or aligns with God's original intention.
